Black and White - Change your color pictures into black and white.
Introduction: In this tutorial I will explain how to convert your stock images into an amazing looking black and white image. Its done in a couple of steps, but the end result is great. Using the Hue/ Saturation option you will be able to recreate this effect.
Step 1:
Click File>Openand locate your picture file. Click here to copy the image I used. Create a new layer (SHIFT+CTRL+N) and name it background change the color to #FFFFFF. More the background layer under the layer with your picture.
Step 2:
Make sure you are on the layer with the picture. click Images > Adjustments > Hue/ Saturation and add the setting below.

Finished work.

News Update [10/16/07]
Yesterday on the 15th of October my gallery went down for some unknown reason. I was able to get the backup of the images, i just lost all the users. The gallery was not that active but i am sill pissed about what happened. I am in the process of reloading the gallery.
