Flash Intro Effec t- Learn how to create a simple flash effect for your intro.
Introduction: In this tutorial I will teach you how to create a flash intro effect using Macromedia flash 8. It is a simple process that adds a nice effect to your work.

Learn how to create the flash intro effect

Part1: Setting up the workspace.
Ok, let us get started. Create a new Flash Document, Click Modifyarrow Document, here is where you can change the background color, and the dimensions of your movie. Since I am creating this for explanation I sat the size to 450x 400 to fit into my page. However, you can create any dimension you need.

Click here and download this image for your background. After downloading the image import it to stage and center it over the white background, name this layer background. Right click and download the .png file below and import it into flash. Import it to stage.

Name this layer orb, Center the orb into your work area, and lock the layer.  Insert a new layer and name it Circle 1 as shown below.

Click on the Oval Tool , by doing that you will see the option below.

Set the setting according to the image above. While holding shift create the circle shown below.

I zoomed out so you can see the effect better.

With the Selection Tool   selected, create the selection shown below.

After creating the selection press delete, this will give you the effect below.

Click on the circle1 layer which will select the two half circles. Now using the Selection Tool right click and convert this into a movie.

With the movie symbol selected, right click on it and select Edit in Place

At this point you should be in a new window, with one layer and a movie frame line. Click on frame 85 and press F6, after that right click on frame 1 and 85 and "Create Motion Tween"

While on frame 85, click on the Free Transform Tool and rotate the selection 180 degrees clockwise. This will give you the effect below.

Select frame1, and click on the circle. After doing that you will see the option shown below. Change the Alpha setting to 30%, repeat this for frame 85. Using the Back arrow go back to the previous layer, lock the circle1 layer.

Create a new layer and name it Circle2, as shown below.

Click on the Oval Tool , by doing that you will see the option below.

Set your settings according to what I have above, now create the circle shown below.

With the Selection Tool   selected, create the selection shown below.

Press delete and you should have the effect shown below.

Select and convert the circle into a movie. Edit your movie in place, at this point you should see one layer and a movie frame line. Click on frame 55 and press F6, after that right click on frame 1 and "Create Motion Tween" repeat this for frame 55. Also change the alpha setting for frames 1 and 55

Click on frame 55 and rotate clockwise 180 degrees. After doing that click on frame 45 ,15 and press f6 to insert a keyframe. You should have the effect shown below at this point.

Using the Back arrow go back to the previous layer, lock the circle2 layer. Create a new layer and name it text1, click on the Text Tool and type something does not have to be anything specific. Just write it so its steps down as shown below.

Click on the Free Transform Tool and shrink it down until you are satisfied. Convert this into a movie and edit it in place. Click on frame 15 and press f6 to insert a keyframe. After that right click on frame 1 and 15 and "Create Motion Tween"

Change the Alpha setting of frame 1 to zero and frame 15 to 30%. Using the Back arrow go back to the previous layer. That is basically it using what you just read you can create the other effect seen on my example below.

Finished:
Well that is it. Hope it is what you expected.
