An Overview of the Latest Adobe Photoshop Creative Suite Program
Adobe has now sent forth its Creative Suite 5 (CS5) application for worldwide release. Adobe is a company that believes in the power of innovation, which is why it has completely overhauled this latest CS offering in order to add a variety of functionality into this legendary application. Since it's more than a mere upgrade, the Photoshop CS5 program is undoubtedly a worthwhile purchase for professional graphic artists everywhere. With it, you can increase the efficiency of your workflow while also stirring up your creative juices at the same time. When it comes to standout features, Photoshop CS5 truly delivers; it undoubtedly lives up to the Adobe Photoshop's immaculate legacy.

64-Bit Performance
The overall software architecture of Photoshop CS5 serves as one of its biggest changes. After two decades of serving the graphic artist community with basically the same programming structure, this specialized photo-manipulation program has since been recorded and rebuilt from the ground up into a powerful, 64-bit behemoth of a digital art tool. This software package now has a cleaner, more streamlined interface plus new icons and a more professional design. The icons are a particular boon, because they've become crisper and more aesthetically pleasing than before, what with them being based on Cocoa widgets and all.

In the previous iterations of Adobe Photoshop, you tended to see a checkered background every time you dragged a layer around, which represented the transparent "layer" or the lack of a background layer behind your foreground. In Photoshop CS5, you will now get to see an opaque layer known as the Ghosted layer, which lets you know exactly what you're moving around. This is a wonderful change of pace for most artists, because it's a lot more intuitive than previous layering schemes. What's more, the program allows you to use as much random-access memory (RAM) as you need, so multitasking to meet your various deadlines and whatnot is now quite possible. More to the point, you're only limited by the amount of RAM your computer is able to handle.
Content-Aware Fill
This newest release of Photoshop gives you the ability to use Content-Aware Fill innovations through the Fill Tool and the Spot Healing Brush. To use this special feature, draw a lasso selection around the image area you want to eliminate. From there, click on the Edit, Fill, and then you'll get to access a dialog box where you can select the "Content Aware" command. In next to no time at all, you will be able to get rid of even the most complex of unnecessary objects or items that's ruining the entire composition of your unedited photograph or artwork.

Of course, you need to be realistic when it comes to using Photoshop CS5's bag of tricks. The Content Aware feature is no magic solution that you can click on willy-nilly in order to instantaneously finish your projects. Then again, it still helps quite a lot with your work, so learn to use it optimally and prudently. Anyhow, at worst the tool will give you a good head start on editing, manipulating, or designing a photo-based project, and at best it will amaze you with how easy your job will become when using it. It's like the next evolution of the ever-ubiquitous clone tool, even. In any case, you can readily see just how much more advanced Adobe Photoshop CS5 has become.
