
In this tutorial, I will teach you how to create the tape effect above.
Step1: Setting up work space.
Create a new image using the dimension 800 x 600. Set the background color to white, this can change depending on where you want to place the Tag. Create a new layer, Layer New Layer... (Shift+Ctrl+N).
Step2: Creating the paper and tape.
Creating a paper as shown below using this color #f6f4c3

Create a new layer, Layer New Layer... (Shift+Ctrl+N). Using the Rectangular Tool create the small rectangle shown below.

Right click on the small rectangle layer, select Blending Options and add the effects below.

Drop Shadow

Outer Glow

Color Overlay
Click ok to apply the settings. With that you should have the image below.

Using the you can position it as shown in the image. Zoom into the image using the Polygonal lasso tool make the ends of the take a little ripped up as shown below.

With that your image should look like the image below.
