Text Reflection - Create a simple but professional reflection.
Introduction: In this tutorial I will explain how to create a simple text reflection using gradients. This is very simple and it gives you a nice effect. If you need any help with this tutorial feel free to post a message on the form or email us.

Step1: Creating the Effect.
Create a New Image using the dimension  800 x 600. Set the background color to white. Click on the Type Tool and write something in your work area. I typed "reflection text". Your work area should look something like the image below.

the reflection text color is : 4d9bc1

and the Text color is: ff9000

Still on the text layer press Ctrl+J to duplicate the layer, Select the  Chop Tool right click on the duplicated text and click Free Transform. With that the options below should show up on the task bar. Change the height to -100% as shown below.

Now drag the Duplicated layer under the main layer to get the effect below.

Click on the Duplicated Layer, click Blending Options and add the setting below.

Gradient Overlay

When you are finished click ok, to add the setting.

Well that is it, hope it came out to what you expected. I also created a video tutorial for this example. The file is a 2 MB flash file. I have the link up on the video section on the forums. Users have to register to view the file, click here to register and view file.  If you have any question or comment about this tutorial feel free to post a message on the forum

Yesterday on the 15th of October my gallery went down for some unknown reason. I was able to get the backup of the images, i just lost all the users. The gallery was not that active but i am sill pissed about what happened. I am in the process of reloading the gallery. Just give me some time and it should be up and running.Yesterday on the 15th of October my gallery went down for some unknown reason.
